Something Sweet

After a busy day full of walking all over Arezzo, my friends and I decided to try Sugar. Based on the name, you would think it would be a restaurant that offers mainly sweet treats as well as dishes. To my surprise, Sugar offers a contemporary twist within its culinary experience.

Located on the middle of a hill in Arezzo, the modern yet inviting restaurant awaits. Sugar is home to a variety of contemporary ideas on fashion. The store offers an exclusive selection of luxury clothing and shoes while containing a different yet innovative appearance.

Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted by the elegant atmosphere and inviting setting. The charming decor and welcoming atmosphere allow for an exceptional dining experience. Sugar is a local restaurant that is known for its warm ambiance, exquisite cuisine and outstanding service.

I wanted a refreshing drink with my meal and decided to order a Hugo Spritz. To my delight, it was the perfect light and refreshing drink to sip on while eating my meal. While in Italy, I tried a variety of new drinks and discovered that Hugo Spritz is my favorite drink by far.

My drink was served in a tall wine glass with a slice of lime, 3 mint leaves and a long black straw. A Hugo Spritz is a light, bubbly cocktail and the perfect summer drink. This beverage combines aromatic floral, citrus and herbal flavors with a sparkling twist.

The Prosecco provides an airy base while the elderflower syrup enhances the sweet and fragrant element of the drink which exquisitely balances the overall combination of flavors. The fresh mint and citrus juice add a zesty taste.

The Hugo Spritz is an ideal cocktail to enjoy on a warm, sunny day. The light and refreshing taste makes it a very versatile beverage and easy to enjoy with a variety of foods. I can confidently say that Hugo Spritz perfectly reflects the ambiance of the restaurant.
